The Rising cost of healthcare

The growth percentage comparisons are between population growth, GDP, health expenditures, and life expectancy. The relationship between population growth and life expectancy with health expenditures and GDP proved to be irrelevant, however the relationship with the latter communicates very clearly.

The largest jumps occurred after a new US president was elected to office and the largest consecutive jumps were after George W. Bush's election and 9/11. The last jump seen at the top increment reflects the year after the market crash of 2008.
